Dr. Thomas Jansen is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kiel Power Systems SE.
As a lawyer and partner at Heuking in Munich, he advises German and international companies on technology transactions, with a particular focus on the aerospace and defence industry.
Dr. Thomas Jansen studied law at the University of Heidelberg, where he also completed his doctorate. Admitted to the bar in 1996, he began his career at Linklaters Oppenhoff & Rädler, with postings at Hale and Dorr in Boston and at Linklaters in London.
From 2004 to 2017 he was a partner at DLA Piper in Munich before joining Heuking. For more than 25 years he has negotiated procurement, development and series production agreements as well as cooperation, licence, technology transfer and joint venture agreements, acting for manufacturers and customers alike. In the maritime sector he has advised a German supplier on delivery contracts with shipyards and with a manufacturer of large diesel engines and propulsion systems.
Dr. Thomas Jansen has served on the supervisory board of OneVision Software AG since 2018.
